Its the summer holidays and if you’ve not booked a holiday for your dog you may struggle to find one as they are now all getting pretty booked up.

I often get asked where my dogs go when I have a break and do I offer dog boarding?

We don’t provide home from home dog boarding at Carrie’s Canines, but there are some awesome companies in Coventry that do, as well as some great kennels.

You want to think about your dog and what would suit them best, is it home boarding or would your dog love going into kennels? (yes some dog thrive in kennels, but some do not).  So it is best to think about your dog and their needs and you know them best!

I wanted to give you my top 5 home from home dog boarders and a couple of fab kennels in Coventry.

Holidog Inn  – Carley provides a holiday home for dogs and doggy day care. They mainly take smaller dogs, so ideal if you have a smaller breed. They are set in 10 acres of private land. Offering a home from home service in Coventry.

Go Out Paws – Providing your furry family member with an opportunity to enjoy a holiday in beautiful surroundings in a home from home environment, whilst you are off enjoying yours. Their guests stay in their homes and are treated as part of the family. Dogs join in with the daycare activity’s. Please note through  that they only board dogs that already attend their daycare.

Happy Hounds – Emma offer’s home from home dog boarding.  Each dog is treated as a member of the family and gets to join in with all the daily pack walks.  They only board a maximum of two dogs at a time, so they get all the attention and care they deserve.  They get the run of the house as well as access to the long secure garden.  She only boards dogs that already attend their daycare.

Pawfectdayz – Abbie provides home boarding, daycare and dog walking in Coventry. She takes your pet to be walked in local parks and woodlands, she also has a private, secure 1.5 acre field for safe play times.

Park Your Paws – Chris offers a home from home dog boarding service to suit your needs and has a large back garden for your dogs to play in. He also provides dog visits and dog walking in Coventry.

All their kennels offer individually covered indoor and outdoor areas, spacious accommodation and secure exercise areas, so your dog can have a holiday too. All their boarding dogs are exercised individually twice a day within our secure paddock area where they are free to run off lead.

In the Dog House – they provide 5* luxury care for your dog in their doggie hotel. When hey say Hotel we mean Hotel, from themed rooms equipped with heating and air conditioning, luxury beds, televisions and radios to even getting a brush and spritz at the end of their stay. Your dog will feel right at home. They have two gated playground area’s for your dogs to play outside and indoor play rooms for those rainy days. They are a family run business and we all share the same passion for peoples pets. They also provide dog day care and dog grooming.
