I’m absolutely thrilled to share some exciting news with you — for the eighth year in a row, I’ve been recognised as an award winning dog trainer in Coventry by Three Best Rated.
This award is based on their 50-point inspection, which looks at reviews, reputation, standards, and service quality. To have consistently been included for eight years is such an honour, and it means a great deal to me both personally and professionally.

To me, this isn’t just another badge. It’s recognition of the values I hold at the heart of Carrie’s Canines & Friends — compassion, patience, and a commitment to understanding every dog as an individual.
Winning this award year after year shows the importance of consistency. Just as training a dog isn’t about one-off quick fixes but about building habits and trust over time, my business has grown steadily thanks to the ongoing trust of my clients and the progress their dogs make.
It’s a reminder that small, thoughtful steps, repeated again and again, lead to real transformation, whether that’s a reactive dog learning to walk calmly on the lead, a puppy mastering recall, or me maintaining these standards for eight years running.
I may be the one named on the award, but in truth this recognition belongs to the dogs and owners I work with every day. My clients put in the time and effort between our sessions, and their progress is what makes awards like this possible.
Here are just a few of the stories from the past year that capture what this achievement means:
Every dog and every owner teaches me something new, and I couldn’t be prouder of the progress they’ve made.
I also have to mention my own dogs, Maisie, Eric, and Envy. Each of them has shaped the way I train and the empathy I bring to every session. From Maisie teaching me patience and the joy of tricks, to Eric’s journey from reactivity to helping other dogs, to Envy’s sunny, social nature. They’re a huge part of why I do what I do.

Eight years of recognition is something I’m deeply proud of, but I know this is only possible because of the trust of my clients. I’m so grateful to everyone who has invited me into their lives to help their dogs, and I’ll continue to build on that trust in the years to come.
As I look forward, my focus remains the same: to help dogs feel understood, confident, and happy, and to give owners the tools they need for long-term success.
