Carrie first helped us when our Tibetan mastiff was a puppy and we had no idea how to train and engage with such a large dog. She was a phenomenal help with Hugo and now Hugo sees her as life long family! We wouldn't know what we'd have done without Carrie. Recently I've worked with Carrie with my dog Poppy, who became so frightened of walks outside, loud noises, cars being near by, I was so worried and didn't know what to do. Carrie met me and Poppy where we were and helped us build up Poppy's confidence step by step. Carrie came recommended for 121 training and started by giving us lots of info and tips which have become good routines for us and dog. Our specific needs were about walking calmly whilst cars passed and Carrie showed us how to keep our dog close on the pavement rather than rush ahead. She trained us on how to distract our dog successfully when cars approached and advised on how to build up her exposure to more traffic over time. Engaged the help of Carrie to work on training my reactive 9yr old terrier, both at home and in public. Carrie was great with my dog from the off, offering loads of support, resources and training tips for us to work on. For example, a change of diet and some easy training tips for us when leaving the house saw a big increase in calmness for our dog. A nice win very early on, with something we’d struggled with for ages 😃 Carrie worked with my dog and I for about 3 months in total, not every week, sometimes a couple of weeks apart, but I can genuinely say I’ve seen massive progress, and the training was fun for my dog and I, and a long term benefit.
